Body Autonomy Screening Series

Created in collaboration with the UCSC Disability Resource Center; the Film and Digital Media Social Documentary Program, Porter College and the Arts Research Institutes Arts & Oppression Initiative, SPARC hosts screening series on the subject of body autonomy. The first in this screening series launched with the disability activist film CRIP CAMP and filmmakers Jim LeBrecht and Nicole Newman, a Q&A and mentorship meetings  The second film in our series focused on women activists who offered safe, affordable, illegal abortions in THE JANES with filmmaker Tia Lessen who hosted mentorship meetings  a Q&A on the film and related mentorship sessions.
