Mission Statement

SPARC builds relationships between individuals and communities through creative art projects that counter the extractive exploitation and oppression of people, land and natural resources. Our mission is to educate, regenerate and resist exploitation through creative art collaborations.
We support creative art projects focused on pressing social, environmental and political issues, with an aim to building community and environmental regeneration across local, national and international borders. SPARC welcomes collaborations across disciplines from individuals, communities, researchers, non-profit organizations and others. We invite proposals for lectures and workshops, artist fellowships and large-scale art projects.
