Living Condition Films

Living Condition Films (Dee Hibbert-Jones and Nomi Talisman) create documentary shorts and feature films on issues of criminal justice and racial reconciliation, working in collaboration with the non- profit mitigation organization Community Resource Initiative https://www.communityresourceinitiative.org and impacted community partners. Their current project in production Run With It http://www.runwithitdoc.net explores the crisis in the criminal justice system and the U.S. racial divide through the eyes of De’Jaun Correia, a young black man on the Dean’s List at Morehouse College, guided by the memory of his uncle Troy Davis, who mentored him from death row. This richly animated documentary feature is both a re-examination of Troy Davis’ case, one of the most controversial, racially-charged capital cases, and an intimate look at the cost of a death sentence on a growing boy, his family, and whole community.
