Ultra-red Symposium
Against Participation: Social Action and the Conditions of Neoliberalism celebrated the 29th anniversary of the collective Ultra-red. Bringing together the twelve members of Ultra-red for a sustained dialogue with students, faculty, activists and others on questions of solidarity with discussions on the nature of participation as it is organized in the management of poor communities.
The symposium from November 11-13, 2015 marked the culmination of Ultra-red’s 2014-2015 research fellowship with Social Practice Art Research Center (SPARC).
